The Lost Boys....

Watching his on Instant Watch....there are lots of subtle plot points that really make this movie great. The brother interaction is great and the Windex as aftershave, etc.

A good one to check out or revisit!

Caught up in the holidays...

My Chicago Ghost Stories is getting some decent listenings; thank you to all that took/takes time to listen. I'm glad to share my experience as long as their is an ear.

My next set of stories is coming up. I'm recording them since I feel way better about my audio style now that when I first started recording.

New Year is coming up! 2012 is a crazy number. I hope something happens for you rather it staying another mundane year.

Presentiment

Yeah, you're already psychic. You have a basic system that knows what's about to occcur, but for some reason, people don't believe it. Here is your proof, around time 00:38:00

Experience kicks education's ass....

Ok, sounds off topic, but it's not if you consider my ghostheory. (Yes, all one word).
Here is my argument which it also explains why Tesla was able to best Edison in many issues, and why Dr. House always identifies the problem (I know it's fictional, but a great example of what I'm talking about).

When I was a kid I thought I wanted to play basketball. I bought a ball, and a few months later, after being untouched, the ball lost some air.

I knew that I needed to use a pump, but the hand helds too long; I'd rather use the bike pumps that you stand on it's feet to get more leverage. I was all done and I played with the pump for a couple days. I'd hold the end, pump some air through and use it like a garden house of air.

Remember, I was holding the bottom of the pump with my feet. After a time, I noticed that the base would get hot when I held the air with my hand. If I pumped it fast and held it, it got so hot I hand to pull me feet away from the base to avoid getting burned. The compression of air causes the area to heat up!

All that from compressing the air into that space. I wonder if the opposite was true? If I pulled that up fast enough, would it cool off? Enough to freeze the stand? Turns out, that was true, although I wasn't fast or strong enough to pull the pump into a freezing temperature, this is basically why a compressed can of air freezes on the outside: the expansion of air. This is also way nitrogen is so cold; because it is one of the most fastest expanding gases around.

I learned all this in GRADE SCHOOL from playing with a bike pump. I had the curiousity, like all kids, to ask, "why?"

That's part of ghostheory....to ask, "why?"

Timid about it...

I'm still a bit timid about writing on a blog. Writing exactly on you mind is a dangerous road to travel and blogging what you are planning is even more perilous is you don't do normal things.

But if I'm going to stick it in, I might as well stick it all the way in.

Here is my thought:
Assume, for a moment, that ghost do exist. The survival of a person past death, in some degree. Some of those people can actually move objects (assuming that is true as well). If they know exactly how they are doing this, then can they teach somebody living how to move objects without the use of their bodies?

If is possible, even in a small percentage, that's a game changer. The thoughts affecting the world....

Spooky Southcoast...

I usually just listen to podcasts after the fact, but this past Saturday I listened to Spooky Southcoast live instead of just waiting for the recording.

On top of that, I ended up calling in to comment on that paranormal investigations have gone stale, but there is actually a select group of people that are actually pushing the state of what people would normally call 'paranormal' into actual scientific studies
FOR REAL, not a bunch of people saying they follow the scientific method, but real Doctorates (noun?) like Dr. Julie Beischel of the Windbridge Institute, who is doing quadrupal blind experiments with psychics and researches the survival of consciousness.

Or perhaps, Dr. Dean Radin of The Institute of Noetic Sciences, who is researching the existence of many fringe topics including psi, human potential, premonition to just name a few.

I'm not sure where I'm going with this, so I'll just be glad to mention what I've mentioned and leave this sans climax.

Getting accustomed to writing...

If you stumbled upon this blog, I'd be very surprised as I literally just created seconds ago....

Why? Well, I'm writing more and more and I really need to write everyday, so why not share thoughts while I do so. It partially a way to feed my ego, but really a way to actively write.

So, if you're reading this, thanks!
